Meet the News from the Nest Team!
Adrianna is a Junior with a lifelong passion for the written word. Since her Freshman year, Adrianna has authored multiple articles for News From the Nest. Though beginning with creative writing at a young age, she now enjoys writing opinion pieces that delve into student’s perspectives on school events as well as providing her own commentary on relevant topics. In her spare time, Adrianna enjoys reading, journaling, crocheting, and baking for her family and friends. In addition to News From the Nest, Adrianna is a member of the Nazareth Theatre Troupe Costume Crew, National Honor Society, Library Advisory Board, and a writer for the Nazareth Literary Magazine. She plans on attending a local university and pursuing a career in publishing or public relations. She is eager to see where her writing will take her!
Kaylie is a Junior. She grew up reading and still devours books as if they were chocolate. Her love of reading quickly developed into a love of writing as she found her mind weaving it’s own stories every moment she could spare. The idea of writing something as inspiring as her favorite novels motivated her to make several attempts at her own novels. Unfortunately she has yet to complete a full draft, but one day she will. Currently, Kaylie is channeling her love for writing into two clubs here at NAHS: News from the Nest and Nazareth Literary Magazine. Kaylie also has a passion for music. She is the principal viola in a youth community orchestra called Young People’s Philharmonic of the Lehigh Valley. She is also taking Electronic Music Production as an independent study course. Kaylie is creating various forms of original music, such as film/video scores and pop-style songs with lyrics. Kaylie hopes to attend Brigham Young University and major in either Creative Writing or Music Theory and Composition.
